Superior Custom Made Golf Putters Milled & engraved in the USA

Phoenix Putter Co is a USA-based custom golf equipment maker that CNC-mills one-piece 303 stainless steel putters and laser-engraves personalized golf accessories for golfers, tournament organizers, and companies that want gear built to order in 5–7 business days.

What Phoenix Putter Co does

Custom CNC-milled putters

We mill blade and mallet putters (the Origin Blade, Saguaro Mallet, and Hognose Center-Shaft Mallet) from a single billet of 303 stainless steel. You choose the face milling, sole and back-cavity engraving, length, grip, and hand. The result is a tour-grade putter that's yours alone, priced from $255 to $375.

Laser-engraved golf accessories

Divot tools, ball markers, cigar multi-tools, milled ashtrays, headcovers, and grips, most of them laser engraved with your name, initials, logo, or artwork. They start at $25 and make the kind of gift that stays in a golf bag for years instead of a junk drawer.

Tournament, corporate & event gifting

We build logo putters and engraved accessory sets in runs of 10 to 250 pieces for tournaments, company outings, and client gifts, and each piece can carry a different name at no extra setup cost. You get a quote and a design proof within one business day. See corporate gifting or bulk custom ordering.

Dealer & wholesale programs

Golf courses, pro shops, and promotional-product distributors (ASI) carry our putters and accessories, co-branded with their logo if they want. Dealers get wholesale pricing and the same 5–7 day build. Apply to become a dealer.

What makes Phoenix Putter Co different

A milled 303 stainless putter for about half the price

Our putters are one-piece milled 303 stainless steel from $255 (Origin) to $375 (Hognose). A new Scotty Cameron Studio Style lists at $499.99 and a Phantom at $549.99, and a Bettinardi Studio Stock lists at $399. You get the same class of material and milling for $124 to $295 less.

Custom built in 5–7 business days, not a month

Once you approve your proof, your custom putter or accessory ships in 5–7 business days. Scotty Cameron's Custom Shop quotes a standard 30-day turnaround and you have to mail your own putter in first. L.A.B. Golf quotes 2–4 weeks for custom builds.

Your design on three surfaces, with a proof before we cut

You can personalize the face, sole, and back cavity with names, logos, or your own artwork, and we email you a proof to approve before any metal is milled. With most big brands, "custom" means picking from preset stamps and paint fill, or adding them to a putter you already own.

Made in-house by the people you talk to

We mill and laser engrave every piece in-house in California and Texas, with no offshore factory and no white-label rebrand. Mass-market putter brands like Odyssey build to a catalog, while every order here goes to one of the two founders.

4.9 out of 5 across 140+ verified reviews, plus a lifetime warranty

Customers have left more than 140 Judge.me reviews averaging 4.9 stars, and several of them mention Dylan by name for fixing a problem the same day. Every putter carries a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

The team behind Phoenix Putter Co

The origin story

Phoenix Putter Co was born from the twisted minds of two cousins with a burning passion for hitting bombs down the fairways and sinking 30-foot birdie putts with their eyes closed. We launched the shop in 2022 to build the putters we couldn't find anywhere else: fully custom, milled in the USA, and priced for people who actually play.

Dylan Smith, co-founder

Dylan has built consumer products for more than 15 years, starting with Juiced Systems, the electronics-accessories brand he founded in 2009. At Phoenix he leads design and production, and he answers most of the customer email. dielawn.com

Derek, co-founder

Derek is Dylan's cousin and the other half of the "twisted minds." He helps shape the designs and keeps production and orders moving between the two shops.

Team composition

Phoenix is a two-founder shop with production in Orange County, California and Brownfield, Texas. There's no call center and no outsourced support: the people who design and mill your gear also answer your questions. Follow along on Instagram at @phoenixputterco.

How Phoenix Putter Co works

Ordering & onboarding

For single orders, choose a product, fill in the built-in customizer (text, fonts, or an uploaded logo), and check out. For bulk and event orders, send the quote form with the quantity, occasion, deadline, and artwork. You'll have a quote and a design mockup within one business day.

Proof & approval

We email a digital proof of every custom engraving before production and only start once you approve it. Vector logos (.AI, .SVG, .EPS, or high-res .PDF) work best, and we can clean up a raster logo for you.

Turnaround & shipping

Standard production is 5–7 business days after proof approval, with rush available for an upcharge. For events with a hard date, reach out 4–6 weeks ahead. Every putter ships free, as does any order of $50 or more, and you'll get tracking by email as soon as it leaves the shop.

Communication & response times

Email info@phoenixputterco.com, use the contact form, or DM @phoenixputterco on Instagram. We answer Monday–Friday and reply within one business day, and you'll be dealing directly with Dylan or Derek.

Payment terms

Retail orders are paid at checkout. There are no subscriptions or contracts. Bulk orders take a 50% deposit when you approve the proof and the balance before shipping, by card, ACH, or wire. Net-30 is available to established corporate accounts.

Frequently asked questions

Where are Phoenix putters made?

Every putter and accessory is milled and engraved in-house in the USA, at our shops in Orange County, California and Brownfield, Texas. Nothing is made offshore or rebranded from another factory.

How long does a custom order take?

Standard production is 5–7 business days after you approve your proof, plus shipping time. Rush production is available. For tournaments and events, contact us 4–6 weeks ahead.

How much does a custom putter cost?

Our putters run from $255 (Origin Blade) to $375 (Hognose Center-Shaft Mallet), and personalization is included. Putters always ship free within the US.

Can I put my own logo or artwork on it?

Yes. Upload it in the product customizer or send it with a bulk quote request. Vector files work best, we can clean up raster logos, and you'll approve a proof before we start.

Do you make left-handed putters?

Yes. Every Phoenix putter model can be built left-handed at no extra charge.

Is there a minimum order for corporate or tournament gifts?

There's no minimum for personalized one-offs. Our bulk pricing and workflow are designed for 10 to 250 pieces, and each piece in a bulk order can carry a different name at no extra setup cost.

What's your warranty and return policy?

Every putter carries a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Non-personalized items can be returned within 30 days, while engraved or customized pieces can't be returned but are still covered by the warranty. Full details are on our policy page.

How is Phoenix different from Scotty Cameron or Bettinardi?

We use the same class of one-piece milled 303 stainless steel, but our putters cost $255–$375 instead of $399–$549. We personalize them in 5–7 business days rather than about 30, and you work directly with the two founders.
